Because it’s tiny and sometimes I put it inside my belt. The other one I have is actually a 19.

I personally like the simplicity of a double action revolver. I like 357 for versatility. Generally use 38 special +p for if in town or heavy bear loads when out hunting. I think a revolver is easier to learn the function of.

Nothing wrong with a semi auto. Based on what you want it for I'd probably stick with a 9mm. Plenty of ammo options and easier to learn on and have control of. A 10mm would be overkill for your daily needs.

I'd suggest looking up shooting ranges near you. Some will have ones you can rent to fire. Generally you have to buy the ammo from them. Good to handle and see how it feels in your hand.

My problem with the Sig was the screw heads were rounded off right from the factory and unable to remove. Nice quality control
