2009 Idaho Buck

After a horrible archery season I wasn't expecting too much for the general season and decided I would shoot the first decent buck I saw. Well at 7:35 opening morning I saw this guy in his bed at the same time he saw me but I was a little quicker to pull up and shoot than he was to jump up and disappear. Enjoy!

Lawnboy, yep he's a local buck. Got him less than 20 miles from downtown.

Jose, the name is so I don't have to show my ID at the local dives in town.

T Bone, the only ones who give me any shit are the ones who I work with, which is fine since over half of them are transplants as well.

I have huge deer sheds that I picked up between 5-8th grades up there. I wish that the deer were as plentiful as when I lived there. Jose knows about the Owl Club? My mom would practically cover our eyes as we drove by at night. I always wanted to be one of those guys to shoot an arrow in that old wooden owl
