What would you be thinking if this was the first glimpse you got of the bull you dropped on opening morning of the Montana general season?

I'd be happy as heck filling my tag with a very nice bull. Then let reality set in and figure out the way to move it and getting it back to the truck. My hunting partner is in the hospital with a infected gall bladder. His hunting season is shot before it gets started this year. But I'm headed to the Sun River country next week to hopefully fill an Elk tag.
Tell us about your hunt.

I'd be super excited seeing those tines sticking up. Good shot and congratulations on that trophy bull.

I would be thinking that typically the longest tine is the 4th, making this a 7 point side. But barely visible, I think I see a brow tine thus making the 3rd the longest. Either way, it is a dandy bull!
