What do you do for a living?

I worked for a telecomms company for 30 years, in my spare time i did guiding.
Took a redundancy package 5 years ago and since then i instruct/guide fly fishermen.
During the winter i go hunting!
Cheers

Ya'll can guess what I am currently doing :) but in the civie world I was/am a Labor Relations Specialist for the DoD Schools. Want to start another thread with some fire? Ask me about teachers unions. :) I should (if they let me) be retiring from the Army this fall and am looking to do something different back on the civie side. I have done hobby carpentry for a long while and would love to make my living carpentry/timber framing.

Wish I was closer so I could give you some free labor for a little experience :)

We just have a big CNC machine that pre-cuts all the parts and notches and then package 'kits' to send out - in other words, sit and follow Hunt Talk all day!

I can send you a kit to practice on, though (for a few thousand dollars). ;)

Shortening my life with the stress of being in the Health Insurance Business. Great career if you like to be in charge of your own time and don't mind living on commission.

Not smart enough to do much else.

Project Manager/Estimator/Application Engineer Fire and Security Division, maybe next month Division Manager, my title keeps changing but my responsibilities stay the same, but I work out of my house 3-4 days a week and have all the time off I could want, so its not to shabby ;)

Finishing up my Masters in Elementary Ed (using the sweet Chapter 33 GI Bill) while I stay home with my daughter.

Carpenter, currently working in a cabinet shop. Hope to be looking at retirement soon. From there who knows, hopefully more hunting and fishing!
