Going back to Idaho this year

Drew the tag for the units we know the best. Instead of getting to use my compound, I will be hauling an x-bow around (pending the approval from IDFG). Im ready for the smell of sage and the whistle of the bugle on the wind while drinking some coffee. Best time of the year. Howd everyone else do?

Congrats. Hope you do well. I know IDFG's crossbow exemption is pretty tough to get, but possible.

Thanks boss. My orthopedic oncologist has it right now filling out his portion. Hopefully they will go with the MD recommendation

No Idaho tags but congrats on yours! I did draw a 704 tag in Montana so had a little luck anyways! I also live in Montana so not sure if I got luck or my tax dollars paid off

Good luck! I hunted that area in 2023. Really enjoyed it. I stayed at the Camp Ground off 212 the first few days.

Awesome! You got any advice you’d share? I’ve lion hunted with hounds down there and seen some elk but to even remotely think I’m not going in blind would be a blatant lie! I’m going to some scouting this month but there has been a lot of fires so it may be a crap shoot
