Agreed but transportation costs do factor into the pump price.

I'm curious, do you know where your nearest supplying refinery is? Our nearest is less than 40 miles yet my wife just paid $3.64 for 88.

I don’t know where our nearest refinery is but these prices are as low as we have seen them in years.

As Nick said , taxes. Our tax per gallon is higher than the fuel cost per gallon.

I didn’t really pay too much attention but less than a dollar. Maybe 75 cents at most. The variable is shrinking with the price drop
