I met a female dentist at my hygienist's office thought I sort of liked her so I asked her where her office is she replied she didn't have one, traveled around between 5 different offices (so far) to wherever she is needed, I thought it was a "smart" idea but then when she gave me the treatment plan
I quickly realized she's not passing any savings to the patients ......

Diesel jumped to $5.50 here yesterday. $1.20 more than gas !! Just read that the LyondellBasell refinery in Houston is closing. The main reason cited was all the "green" restrictions ordered by the Biden Administration. Expected impact to fuel prices with this closure will add 10 - 15 cents per gallon.

Interesting just read the Reuters article, appears they have been shopping it for 2 years with no takers. My impression is that it’s losses were like everyone else in the industry due to the pandemic. Will be interesting to see who buys the facility. With $100 oil I can’t imagine it actually closes.

Also projected closing is 2024 so not near term.
