We ate the wolf......Yummmm!

I remember reading that The Corps of Discovery (Lewis and Clark expedition) got tired of eating elk and preferred eating dog instead at one point! I'd be hesitant to try wolf, but like Ben said - everything is a taco if you try hard enough!

Everything is a taco if you try hard enough. Very cool Randy!
That's a great point.

Wllm1313's Fine French Wolf Tacos
Hot sear all sides
Sousvide - 165 for 1hr
Toss it in the slow cooker with:
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 can chipotles in adobo (finely chop, add in all the adobo sauce)

Low 4 hours.

Right before serving add some black beans.

Load up some warm tortillas with all the fixings.

Now do Korean tacos.

Never thought to eat a wolf not that I had the opportunity to either but I suppose I’d try it just to say I did

Im with greenhorn on this one. Just barf...
Im not that hungry yet. I dont think i could ever get it chewed up. Just thinking about it pre activates my gag reflex.
However I do like fried chicken livers and anchovies on my pizza. (Not at the same time though.)

Hard pass. I commend Randy and the crew but we all have to draw the line somewhere. Barring Zombie Apocalypse no dogs no primates for me.

Wolf, the gateway meal

Waiting for @wllm1313 's recipe...
