Remember. Not all of us are drinking the cool aid. You can support someone or a position without drinking the cool aid. With that said. I believe we have taken steps in the right direction. Doesent mean something can't get through. Doesent mean it already hasn't. I have hunted and fished the Canadian border. Looked right across from both sides. Although there is measures in place I never felt it would be that hard to cross.
Or you could just put it in the great social media thread and keep it at 18.
One man’s anecdotal observations (mine), and based on what I hear at the checkpoint every week, is the border in our area is definitely the most secure in terms of the number of illegal immigrants coming across as it has been in anyone’s memory, if not ever. But, that does that not mean “secure” from nefarious individuals intent on causing harm. Lots of country to cover and wouldn’t be that hard to sneak through.
Plenty of out of the way places to cross and I don’t think someone intent on terroristic activities would cross at the port of entry or a BP checkpoint (which are 30 or 40 miles from the border).
