Criticizing Netanyahu being blanket-labeled as anti-Semitism is bullshit, and is happening way too much. But blanket-associated all Jews with Rabbinic Judaism is also bullshit. Bibi is a bad actor and pretty clearly considering his own power over the well-being of the Israeli people, but he's a secular Jew and using the Talmud to say the US shouldn't support him rather than the other actually legitimate reasons isn't helpful.

Maybe I misinterpreted your post. The Christian support for Israel has never been about a shared faith, it's about the Jews being God's chosen people in the Bible. But I'm in agreement that the Christian Zionism is ridiculous; even if you hold to the mainstream evangelical idea of protecting the Jewish people, supporting a Netanyahu government that consistently takes actions raising the danger-level for those people makes no sense.

Really one of the most preposterous things is the idea that it's a left and right issue. When i voted for Trump it was for a candidate that insisted the thousands killed and the trillions spent to replace al qaeda with al qaeda and other middle east regime changes was an idiotic mistake to be avoided.
