Anybody that has read my threads know im planning a antelope hunt in wyoming. 2nd year applying and hoping to draw this year. What is everybody else hoping to do? Anybody applying for once in a lifetime tags or planning a hunt to a new state? Or maybe even a fishing trip with the family to some new waters? Another first for me is a ice fishing trip to Devils lake ND. We will be leaving for North Dakota on jan 10. Really looking forward to both trips next year.:hump:

So far it's just an early May trip to Montana, but I'll probably end up hunting somewhere west of the Mississippi this fall.

Back to Wyoming for antelope for sure and maybe Colorado for lopes too if I draw. Then either Colorado for elk or Montana for muleys.

Quebec Walleye fishing trip in June with some old friends. Elk hunt in Utah with my wife in October. Also doing some research on a Whitetail hunt in the mid west for a late season trip.

F250 you should give Iowa a try. Northeast Iowa has some public land that has good deer. Allamakea county is where I do a fair share of my huntin. I also walleye fish the mississippi river there to. I have a cabin only 12 miles down the wisconsin side from Lansing. Beutifull country

My hunting partner and I are Going back to Montana Elk hunting again.
And I am going to start applying for a Moose tag too, probably wont every draw, but you can't draw if you don't try.

I am going on a merriam hunt in Nebraska and South Dakota in the spring. Then elk in Sept in Co or Utah. Then it's off to Illinois in November for the midwest rut. I am looking forward to this coming year.

Son and I planning for Fall '14 Colorado elk. Maybe an early spring S Texas exotic.

I am going to try and utilize the RFW tags out here along with second rifle season in order to try and give meextra seasons and fill the freezer. So hopefully I will be hunting lopes, deer and elk here and the maybe an IN gun hunt over Thanksgiving next year. Let's hope.

Going on my first trip out west to try for antelope in Wyoming.

Plan is to burn WY elk points unless draw doesn't play out then MT archery elk again.
I have 6 WY antelope points so would like to fit that in either way (first antelope hunt - advice welcome) ;)

Usually do a day or 2 in Louisiana summer red fish trip (my yearly tan).

Would like to do a shed hunt/predator hunt/prairie dog shoot (any excuse will do) out west somewhere (any suggestions?)

Would love to get back up north and do a muskie/pike trip - been many years.

Great, now I'm all wound up...maybe a Jan duck/goose hunt? Anyone?

Probably no hunting trip for me this year. My wife, baby, mom and dad and I are going to Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Idaho. My mom and my wife have never been out there and my dad and I are secretly trying to coerce them into relocating out there, lol. I am really looking forward to spending a few days in Idaho to scout for my first elk trip, got a few areas picked out I want to take a look at. We have decided to give it a whirl while we build points elsewhere. Colorado would be nice for archery elk but my dad can't shoot a compound anymore(carpal tunnel/rotator cuff)

Will see what draw gods have in store for me. I will definitely be out west somewhere come fall.

As I hope it plays out...

1) Mid September hunt for pronghorn in WY. This one will be all about getting my two oldest boys their first big game.

2) Dad and I back to WY the beginning of October for a combo deer/pronghorn hunt.

3) And everything in Idaho.

Sounds like a lot of fun hunts for you guys!

Other than building more points in a lot of states I am planning on archery antelope in WY, archery Elk in MT, archery deer in SD and ND, and deer gun in MT.

The draw season is right around the corner :)

Montana antelope, if I don't get a tag for that, hopefully there are leftover deer tags and I will do a Montana archery trip.

SD west river, east river and archery. I know I'll draw one of those

Not planning any major trips now other than a spring bear and turkey hunt in NW Montana, applications will tell whether or not ill be hunting limited or unlimited draw deer and elk this fall.

No major hunting trip except for Turkeys in Ky,

I am planning another long bike ride. Iowa, Denver, Albuquerque, Dumas Tx, New Orleans and a few stops on the way back up the road to Md. I hope to get some good pic's for painting.

Where you going to be in Idaho?

2014 is totally up in the air other than deer and elk in October.
Having trouble deciding which month to retire. Meeting with my financial planner in February so may know more then. Decisions, decisions...... sucks to be me.
