We've been in a house on the mouth of the Smith River for the past few days, Northern California. Accross the river is a big sandbar. At any given time there are about 150 of these big lazy lumps just laying around doing nothing in particular. Those seals must have it awfully easy. No predators and food extremely easy to catch in the surf. I'm honestly kind of envious.
