The Great HT 2026 weigh in.

Great result! I’ve been avoiding the scale after our two-week family vacation. That weigh-in thread has a lot of motivation behind it. It’s not always easy sticking to goals long-term. Seeing others share progress helps keep things moving. Even small wins matter. Consistency is usually the hardest part. It’s kind of like finding a Weight Watchers phone number —you’re looking for support along the way. Same idea here. Keep it going.

Weigh in @ DR office, 186#s.
Long consult with surgeon talked me out of umbilical hernia surgery. She is concerned I could suffer damage later, easier.
71 and in very good general shape , minus the cancer. Bones of a 40 YO. PSA .02 and good numbers. Unremarkable organs.
No new or growing cancers.

Tomorrow is eye check up 2 yrs post surgery. Should be 20/15 still.

I earned my blueberry pie tonight.

I haven't joined in on this until now. I started getting much more serious about weight loss a couple years back. At that time I was over 285. Over the last couple of years I have gotten down to 248. I hit 248 3/4/26. However, I had a health issue that kept me out of the gym and made it hard to do a lot of movement for the last 6 weeks. Over that time, my eating got away from me too. I got started back at the gym today and am back on track with eating. The scale read 256 this morning. Here's to being 25+lbs lighter by archery season. Good luck to everyone else on their health goals and keep it up!

I Added back three days of running to my gym workouts and am down 6 pounds. Im hovering in the 195 zone today. I lift five days a week and Im sure i will sacrifice some strength to the running, but I have to get my cardio game back on for turkey season

Had a Dr appointment yesterday. 259.3lb fully clothed. BP 125/77. I have another tomorrow for my annual physical and labs.
Still aiming for 230 lbs by hunting season. I'm walking my 6 mile loop most days now and seeing progress.
Awesome! Keep it up

Weight inching up in the 160’s but averaging about 6 good workouts per week. Feeling great, diet slightly more relaxed, still eating very clean overall.

One thing about having extra padding, the wind doesnt affect your bow sighting so much. Im about 150, anything over 10 km per hr and my shooting goes to hell.
