The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

One of the members of the Bozeman Gay Film Critics Society suggested this movie. With that solid recommendation, I went and saw what I believe will be the Best Picture of the Year.

The movie is way great, the effects are pretty cool. The story moves along very well for a 3 hour movie. I never got bored, never fell asleep.

It seems like a cross between Forest Gump and Titanic, without the funny parts of Gump.

My guess is this will be a movie that will be shown for years as a "classic".

I can't decide whether or not the 'classic' description fits but it is a very good picture. Jose's Titanic/Forrest Gump analogy is accurate....same screenwriter as Gump. Extremely well crafted w/ an unusual storyline. Blanchett is awesome throughout....stunning as a young ballerina.

Titanic/Forest Gump, and 3 hours long, thats enough to keep me from ever going.

My next flick will be Grand Torino, only if it gets a good review HERE.

went and saw this movie with the wife last night....what a painful ordeal that was.....3 hours of torture, about 1/2 way through I was trying to cut my jugular on the back of the chair to end the pain.......it had a good message, they just could have got it across in an hour and a half instead of 3
