Fixing to leave for a weeklong fishing trip for Big Cats, but I wanted to give a shout out to Kurt and let him know we will be including him in our Kneemail for his Back. John

Bad deal, for sure. Hope he gets better, soon. Glad it wasn't worse.

There is a reason I don't do the horse gig. They are nothing more than vehicles that lack throttle controls or steering mechanisms. I don't know any person who uses horses in the mountains who eventually does not get on a first name basis with an ortho or spine doctor.

I've never met Kurt in person, only followed the adventures here on hunttalk, but I wish him the best. This reinforces my deal I've made with horses, I don't sit on them, and they don't sit on me.

Prayers from down south for you Kurt. Here's to a full and speedy recovery

What happened to him? Sounds like he got bucked off a horse.. Hope he heals up quick!

What the heck, I thought he was superman?!:D Brought down by a nag?

Sounds like dog food in the making.

Heal Up!

that's why mules were made for the mountains.

heal quick GH. we/I need your pictures of large critters to keep me wanting to come out there and hunt.

The little I know of Kurt (Amazing adventures shared on HT) - your one tough guy! Hang strong and as they say, get back in the saddle! ~ Figuratively speaking...
Really though, whether four hooves or four wheels - sh!t just happens sometimes.

What happened? What is Kurt's status?

I'm fine! Considering hunting today but think ill rest up and get used to he medicine so I can go next weekend. I only broke those wings on the vertabra which aren't serious, just sore. Thanks for the concerns.

I bet he was bucked off a cougar...the horse is just a smoke-screen.

Seriously dude...take it easy.

Glad to hear that you are all right.. Being hurt sure stinks the older we get. Kinda scary actually.

Sytes, let me take this chance to call you a recovery STUD, you gotta have a big pair to go thru what you have this past year. Well done.

Greenhorn, get better fast, I need to read a bear hunt story.

I'm I the only one that wants to see a picture of Greenhorn in a 10 gallon hat, wooly chaps, spurs and knee high cowboy boots atop his trusty steed?
