yeah it is on right now and has been for the last couple of days. Got some more brining right now. I have people asking me for more of those smoked goose breasts.

This time of year when I see a thread started by you, I know it's gonna be good. Congrats! How many banded ducks/geese do you get? It's pretty interesting sometimes how long ago and how far away the birds were banded.

We have never shot a banded goose. The odds would seem to be in my favor at some time of getting a banded bird but so far zip, nada, nil in the bands dept.

My kid goes with a buddy and jump shoots a small pond up on the inlaws ranch and they kill two banded geese. The certificate came back as being banded near The Pas in Manitoba in 2010.

Holy moly Neamont, once again you make me jealous.

I made it out with a couple of friends on Sunday for my first goose hunt in a couple of years, we only ended up with 6 but had a blast doing it.
