Been busy with elk and not many birds around or birds switching fields on us. But it felt good to get back in the decoys this morning. 3 man limit of ducks and a few geese

I need to get up that way and do some field hunts. I'm tired of the Florida bugs and heat.
We do shoot our fair share of ducks tho! That looks like a great hunt with great friends.

Saw a few cows and calves but no bulls. Private land was busy so been in the bush last couple times. Finding tracks just no elk. Called in a couple bull moose. Should just archery hunt elk and skip rifle and miss the gong show lol. Maybe I’ll get lucky in the last week or so of season

That's what I did, stopped hunting rifle and sticking to bow for OTC, a lot less people...
Got lucky and drew 43 for elk. Hunting unpressured elk during the rut was phenomenal, called in more bulls than I could ever imagined!
