I was deer hunting in 2018 when I stumbled into an elk hole in a unit that has OTC elk tags. Went back with an elk tag in 2019 and missed a good bull, kept the empty casing on my nightstand since then to remind me of the fun I had that day. In 2020 I thought I got a glimpse of the same bull but never had a shot opportunity at him. Went back this year and there he was.
In all realty, I have no clue if it’s the same bull. I’ll be looking forward to see what’s in there next year. Atleast now I can get rid of that empty casing. Or maybe not.
