WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04

I think I'm gonna get a sbr before the panic buying steps up.
Kinda pathetic that you can do that in blue Michigan - but our gop gunright blowhards in MT left laws on the books after having a supermajority and the exec branch. Enjoy it - 10 inch 5.56 is under rated.

I see some of the real conservative "leaders" we have are pandering to people saying they'll fix it now. Too bad it wasnt about granting DBs from wherever special carveout elk tags, the Galt clan would have been right on it then.

It was an actual conservative/gun rights thing though, so much like reduced taxes, just something they run on here. Not enough special interest sponsors to do something when it was appropriate, i can only assume.

Farm bureau Probly told her upland habitat makes for better cornfields.
I mean in a sense it does- if you take all of your marginal land out of production and restore that to native habitat, then the land that is still in production for corn will all average out to a better yield.

Additionally, things like prairie strips can prevent soil loss from erosion, keeping it somewhat available to your corn crop I suppose

HEY!, no one asked a Texan for a rational idea on how Iowans should be farming. We need to take out all of our fences, plant up to the river bank, road beds, and through drained wetlands all for $3.50 a bushel corn that costs more per acre to put in.

Why'd y'all give me a masters degree then?

I think we should grow more corn to convert to fuel and subsidize the hell out of it.

Not much change in Idaho.
Re elected an 83 yr old career senator for another 6 years. He voted against releasing Epstein files and supports selling public lands. But hey, he’s a Republican so he must be alright….

But on the bright side, voters decided the state firearm is officially a model 94 30-30. Thankfully we got that settled before they slipped a Creedmore onto the ballot. Haha

And this day too shall pass. Baton passed from one turd to another.

Good to see some opposition, a little more, "balance of power", even though we're still dealing with 2 crazies in the same driver's seat holding the wheel.
Thank God, car restoration means something in America simply by voting. We need to get some crazies out of the seat and get some true America back in.

I listen to a dozen market pundits yesterday tell me a Blue wave was priced in.

Could be interesting to see what Congress tries to do or at least signal what it wants to do on AI regulation and data centers. I thought I'd read that leading up to the election, tech billionaires smelled which way the breeze was blowing and were donating more $$ to Dems.

Now the Dems have some hard choices to make. If no real disruption to the AI pyramid scheme (joking?), then maybe the market doesn't tank and we keep on picking dandylions and chasing butterflies out in left field, ignoring the poo stuck to our shoes. Doesn't really matter until you get back home, anyway.

Winchester Model 1873 won!

Otherwise, Idaho is the reddest of the red based on the election results. Nothing changed.

Most of the opposition to AI from yesterday's result will be at the local level- ballot initiatives, governors, etc. And Tech bros will be more than happy to reduce the pace at which they are being built to help their stock prices. Agree though. It will be hard for Dems to put a hard stop on the major thing driving the economy. Data centers will still get built.

Wait a minute, @brymoore beat me to pointing out the fake news on the 30-30 winning! Agree on not expecting changes, the only voting result I was surprised on was HJR4 and being overwhelmingly No.

I do not agree that this is a local-only thing. It is most definitely, at the state level, a big deal. And frankly, it is going to become a big deal at the national level too.
