People Are Insane

The medic situation had nothing to do with my daughters attractiveness. Quite the opposite. If anything he was verbally abusive toward her. My daughter has extensive training in how to handle these students as well as a Masters degree in it. This is what she does and has always wanted to do. The reward is the students themselves. The EMT/Medic needs training. And IMO needs another line of work. You can train someone how to properly restrain someone without injury. Especially someone who through no choice of their own has no idea what they are doing. (In this case my daughter is quite sure the student has bruises from the grip the medic placed on his wrists) What you can't teach is how to be nice. You either are or you are not. And if you are not you should not be in that line of work. As more details have developed I have followed along and let my daughter handle it. But because I can't help myself I also made some calls. From my days as a trucky I am in a group chat with the guys I worked with back in the day. Guys who know my daughter. Some of them are still involved in emergency services and hold rank. A couple of text's in and I knew it would be handled regardless of what the school supervisors do. My daughter may not see the results she wants on the back end. IDK. But I know it will be taken care of at least from a discipline standpoint. We were a tight group who went through a lot together. If they say it is addressed I know it is.

I'm not saying something like accusing you dressed a certain way. Through absolutely no fault of your own, guys are animals and I know I'm onto something here.

Ah, yes. The old “men are animals and can’t help it” justification. I call bullshit- we’re not talking about just getting a little flustered or tongue-tied or clumsy here. And men who continue to excuse/justify/explain away the behavior of those who can’t help acting like animals around women and children are part of the problem. 🤷🏻‍♀️

omfg it's not a justification!! You guys know just enough about psychology to know that there's some people that JUSTIFY men's behavior this way and that you have to react very aggressively against it. Good. And don't ever stop doing it. But that's not me. I believe that this EMT should be put in a neck restraint himself. I'm saying that the way he behaved is utterly insane and stupid. So stupid that there can only be one possible explanation for it. You're discussing this issue with someone who is absolutely not a chauvinist, absolutely not an idiot, and absolutely not afraid to discuss human nature for what it really is. And you don't understand who you're talking to and you're reacting as though I'm some sort of Cornell frat boy that needs to be taught a lesson. But I don't want stuff like this to ever happen again and so I figured I'll publicly post my dark guess why he acted that way. Are any of you guys proposing how someone in this line of work starts to act that way? No you're not because it's completely baffling. For example even sickos that torture animals don't do it right at an animal shelter. That's exactly what this guy did he went to a place for people to be helped with their physical differences and physically abused one. Only one explanation.

Yeah- he’s psycho.

Once upon a time, as a young college student, as I stared in the bathroom mirror at the bruises on my body and ran my fingers over the knots on the back of my head, courtesy of one of your “guys acting like an animal”, there was never any doubt in my mind that his actions had NOTHING to do with me being attractive, or what I was wearing (sweats) or where I was (sidewalk in broad daylight), and EVERYTHING to do with him being a sick #*^@#*. You doubling and tripling down on the ONLY possible reason for sick behavior being dependent on how a woman looks is one of the most offensive things I’ve ever seen on this forum.

Why do I get the feeling there’s a thin blue line flag hiding a girlfriend’s head-sized hole in the drywall somewhere in blow downers house?
