Here's my take on the election: The voters don't want the facts. They want to have their preconceived notions validated so they believe the advertising and spin doctors rather than spend 20 minutes doing a google search looking for the truth.

Seriously, that has to be the dumbest idea ever. We are currently fighting wars against enemies armed with weapons we supplied them.

The economy is improving, albeit slowly. slowly? where do you come up with that info? unemployment numbers are the SAME. welfare recipient numbers are UP. sorry, my math says it's the same or worse. Obama has Lowered taxes on small businesses 18 times. Tax breaks for companies who hire veterans. Incentives for companies to manufacture their products here. You would agree that manufacturing in the US is rising, wouldn't you? not impressed since manufacturing was so low. going from zero to one is not impressive. And you would agree it's rising for the first time in a decade, right? not without looking up the facts. If Romney gets in will t hose tax breaks stay, I think so, but you will also see tax breaks for the rich, and who will pay for that? Middle class will pay for that by losing out on tax deductions. and yet more talking points from the democrats. carry zero weight.
Public land is my biggest issue and why I vote Obama. really? then why did you vote for him last time? don't remember land being an issue last election. and if land is more important than how the country will be left for your children and grandchildren, then you shouldn't be voting. If Romney had his way public lands would be gone and select few rich ceos would own big farms. This forum would have no need to exist. And I can say that I am far better off then I was 4 years ago, and I know many who would say the same. need to tell us HOW you are better off. getting more welfare? get a job? pay off a car? finalize a divorce? many reasons you could be better off.
There are many other stances and issues that I am in agreement of Obama. Romney is corporate raiding scum. I cant stand him, and it bugs me people are falling for anything he says. now that right there is funny. I don't care who you are. people voted for nobama last timer because of HOPE and CHANGE. He has absolutely no concrete plans out, neither does nobama. just more of the same old steal from the rich and give to the useless. so it baffles me how people can think he will fix anything. How? We truly dont even know. well, as nobama said, if things were not better, he would be a one term president. nothing is better. shovel ready jobs were a hoax. the healthcare deal is going to cost everyone more in taxes. unemployment is the same. already posted the numbers for welfare and food stamps are. BOTH higher than when he took office.

You do realize that every president since Carter has sold Egypt massive quantities of arms and the Egyptian generals are all graduates of the U.S. War College. President Obama has not only continued that policy but continues to send arms and aid to Egypt.

Claim: Obama said that Romney said he would provide heavy arms to Syrian rebels.

The facts: Romney did say he would provide heavy weaponry to rebels in Syria. In an Oct. 8 speech in Lexington, Va., Romney said he "will work with our partners to identify and organize those members of the opposition who share our values and ensure they obtain the arms they need to defeat (President Bashar) Assad's tanks, helicopters and fighter jets."

Earlier this year, President Obama signed an intelligence "finding" authorizing U.S. intelligence agencies to support the opposition in Syria, Reuters reports.


The "finding" is largely a bureaucratic mechanism, and it has long been reported that the CIA is at least aiding in the flow of money and weapons from Saudi Arabia and Qatar to the opposition inside Syria. In June, CBS News correspondent David Martin reported the CIA has been advising other countries about which Syrian rebel groups are deserving of aid.

so, explain what the difference is between the two. know you can NOT like this since you are against romney doing it.

Go look at what the U.S. has sent to Egypt. We have sent them their annual installment of $1.3 Billion in military aid and we will continue to arm the Morsi Government regardless of whether he represents the Muslim Brotherhood or not.

You do understand that by Hillary Clinton giving political cover to the Libyan Rebels She opened the flood gates to not only U.S. arms but arms from all over the world. We also financed a lot of those deals.

So as long as we just give them money to buy arms and not sell them directly we are not arming both Egypt and Libya? I guess you can parse it how you want to support the guy of your choice. Romney U.S./Egypt would continue the Obama policy, who continued the GWB policy, who continued the Clinton policy, who continued the GWHB policy, who continued the Reagan policy, who continued the Carter policy which Carter started.

We have financed arms purchases for Libya during and since the overthrow of the dictator Quadafi or however it is spelled.

We will and most likely already are providing targeting, munitions, intel and other assets to Syria.

Again I don't really care but the flood of U.S. made or purchased arms to Egypt, Libya and most likely Syria has not abated under Obama, period.
