Most valuable hunting item under $100

I’d have to say my Pole Cat shooting sticks.(Before they were bought out and rebranded by Primos). I not only use them to shoot, but to steady my binos for glassing and as a cane/treking pole for keeping balance in steep uneven terrain.

Depends on the type of hunt for me.

Big game/whitetail/waterfowl: Cope
Upland game: Redman and cinnamon gum
Mine is windchecker. I fell naked without that little bottle.

Talk about feeling naked, the feeling of getting into your tree stand way back on public for an all day sit during the rut and realizing you forgot your tin in the car. Soul crushing.

Dipped Kevlar gloves and above sharpener post kill. I did a whole bison with that sharpener and I feel much better not having to screw with the replaceable blade stuff. 10 drags on the blade every 20 min or so and good to go.

Waterproof paper map, neck gaiter, outdoorsman’s tripod adapter, camelbak 50oz water bottle, ear plugs on a neck lanyard.

Items not mentioned and more like the “stuff that outpunches it’s weight” category, but $100 gets you

The Wrangler Outdoor pants everyone loves $22-27

A Condor Tactical 1/2 zip grid fleece $20-26

Two pairs of Darn Tough socks and you’re just about ready to go hunting
