Montana Hard Water

Been getting out a bit and quite a few meals in the freezer. Here is my best northern and walleye with obligatory GuNR positioning. Now to decide if I should chase elk or fish this weekend. Probably enough red meat in the freezer, so most likely be standing on 2' of ice with a beer in hand this weekend.

It takes a special kind of person. But when the fishing is good and the weather decent, ice fishing can be a ton of fun.

I've never been ice fishing, but it's definitely on my bucket list. Those are amazing fish!! Have you ever tried pickling the pike?
