Thanks man I appreciate that. I finally got an opportunity and I jumped at it because I told myself I was gonna have a hard time telling my kids to chase their dreams if I didn't do what I had always mattered to me so part of it I did for me and part of it I did to set an example for my kids.

No, not really. Trump is terminating contracts (including grants) that were guarenteed for years ahead.
I do a lot of government contracts, and most of them have an “availability of funds” clause that gives the executive branch agency executing the contract an out if they lose their funding. Not sure of the specifics of any recently cancelled contracts (fortunately none of ours have been cancelled), but they may very well have that clause. Whether it would stand up in court as to whether they did indeed lose their funding is another story. I know my company likely wouldn’t try to fight it though.
Pretty sure we’re very close to open defiance of everyone and everything. We’re also very close to realizing how many of those oaths about “enemies, foreign and domestic” will be taken seriously. Or how they interpret enemies.
