elk farm bull. still gives me the willys.

Crappy picture with my cell phone through binoculars at dusk, watched this bull until dark the night before the opener on my 2010 New Mexico elk hunt.

Could hardly sleep that night thinking about him and never saw him again.

Not that you can tell from the picture but he was a solid 340 - 360 class clean framed typical bull with some awesome whale tails.

Dink - Holy crap. As new as I am to elk hunting, and as much as I like to see a live elk or downed one. We all know how nice it is to have a pack in the back of the truck after a 3 mile pack out with 2 hinds. Cannot wait for September,
