Had the pleasure of helping my good friend harvest his LE Wasatch Muzzleloader elk. We got him in an absolute hell hole and it took a long time to get him out. Great 6x7 bull that he shot at 49 yards. Now I need to go shoot my own elk....

Nice bull. Those "antlers up" pack loads never looked terribly comfortable to me.

They sure weren't comfortable for him Oak, but the antlers down just weren't an option in the timber we had to hike through.

Nice work boys - that looks like fun. Hiking at night is always fun in full moon. (believe Dinkshooter did a late night packout too)

Cool!

Great looking bull.
How did the hunt go, numbers of mature bulls seen, hunting pressure, bugling etc, its a hunt that i have looked at applying for, but plenty of hunters hold a tag for their each year.

Very nice. Having someone along on a hunt like that is always a great way to share the adventure.

Only the best friends are there to help a buddy pack out an elk when they don't have a tag in their pocket!
