Kodiak Island Sitka Blacktails

This was my second time to Kodiak. I did a Nov boat trip three years ago. That trip just fueled the fire to get back. I always wanted to do the early season and I finally put it together. I saw more P&Y bucks the first day than I did on the whole week on the boat trip. Totally different hunt. We didn't have any bear problems. The bears are on the salmon streams. We up high and weren't near any salmon streams. Ed F
