I know two guys that didn’t buy their tags because the rest of their buddies didn’t draw and didn’t want to go alone.
Another that didn’t purchase his deer tag because he didn’t draw elk and wasn’t interested in just deer.
I bet there’s quite a few that weren’t picked up for similar reasons???

IDFG made millions on this idea. I heard one rumor that IDFG had 7k new applicants entered into the system.

100%. Everyone seemed to be predicting the demand would go down, and I thought no way. The marketing of these tags and the FOMO is too high.

The one rule I believe they have is you can't get drawn for a species in the first draw, not buy the tag, then apply for that same species in the second draw.
