If the dummies in the Northeast would club some seals its quite possible the GW's would relocate, and stop idling along those pretty beaches.
 
I’d like to see a trapping season. I think, with a big enough conibear, it should be very doable. I’d probably add some swivels to the cable, though.
 
I vaguely recall a seal flipper pie recipe in one of Michael Hunter's cookbooks. Unfortunately, seal flippers are somewhat tricky to come by in Colorado.
If you don’t cook the flippers you’re just being wasteful, just like bear paws, coyotes, carp, and bloodshot deer ribs. Can’t wait for a Rinella sea lion cooking episode.
