Long day yesterday getting bear pieces out of the hills.

Maps are out and ambushes are planned. Hopefully the last two nonresident tags get notched at dusk.

Make that four? Four hours past shooting light and team theat is still AWOL.

Gerald, Dustin and I checked out some new country tonight and found grizzly haven. Six bears spotted with four being the big, brown, angry type. Shooter black bear came out at last night but saw (smelled?) Dustin's beard and cowered back in to the timber.

Early night in bed for me to pack bear meat in the morning. I'm going to sleep for a week once this madness finally ends.

Dave and I just met Team Theat on the way out from the trailhead. It is official. Hunttalk Bearhunt 2014 final score is Montana Boys 0- Eastern Tenderfeet & Token Westcoaster 4. That is unless Randy can put one on the boards for the home team when they pack out J.R's bear in the morning. What a whirlwind of a hunt!
