There are guys like me who just need some *alone time* once a year to recharge the 'ol batteries, be crude, rude, vulgar, in the company of like individuals and get it all out of our system so we can be the perfect spouse, father, grandfather for the other 51 weeks.

There is some benefit to this theory. Take her for her trip then go for three of yours! It works pretty well. I've got a fresh baby at home and since I took the wifey up to bag her elk during archery I've got the hall pass for multiple hunting trips with just the fellas.

My wife shot her 1st Elk 2 wks after our son was Born..She shot her 1st coues while pregnant with Taylor [ our daughter] .She goes with me "EVERYTIME" she has a tag... why wouldn't she? The Dudes always come into camp telling me how lucky I Am:hump:

I get out with the boys on plenty of pig/turkey/ dove and stuff

Plus she loves my farts!...they are sweet...Married 31yrs...

Last year the day I left to go on my elk hunt was our 16th anniversary. Needless to say I will be taking care of what ever she want's to do for our anniversary this year.
