Is your mall crawler ready to go?

So this summer when I drained my coolant I contemplated changing out the water pump as a preventative measure. I did not.

Last night, I came home to a puddle of coolant on the driveway.

If all goes well, it should be hunt ready by tomorrow evening.

My old mall crawler just hit 200k on the drive to work yesterday. New mall crawler, ordered in May, won’t be here for another few months. Crazy🤬

I kept my $400 replacement tire from my spring bear hunt. It’s now my spare. The guy was getting my odometer and such, looks at the spare and laughs. Says that spare tire is probably older than some of my techs in the shop.🤣

I have not. They were in the same price range as any other good quality, three ply sidewall tire. I’ve read a lot of very good reviews on them.
Interesting about the the cost. Ill look into those too when the time comes. Ive watched several in depth reviews on youtube and these tires usually come out on top.

2016 F-150 w/ 3.5 Ecoboost. I bought it with 35k miles on it and it has 165k now. It’s been a great truck and I hope to get 150k more on it. I was changing plugs a couple weeks ago and noticed one of the wells was full of oil, so it looks like I’ll be replacing a valve cover on it. Has anyone ever done it? I feel like I’m capable enough to attempt it, but it probably won’t go smoothly. Other than that, it should be ready for my one hunting trip this fall. New rear shocks about a month ago.

I have bought several sets of tires from the one in Helena, even though it’s about 100 miles away. They always have the best prices and excellent customer service.
I use to get tires there to, until I priced tires at Lisac's tires in Anaconda, they beat Discount's prices, they also have a store in Butte. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can get it pretty quick.
