WOW! Glad to hear the dog lived. Amazing reading the article... The wolf seemed intent to make another go. Really appreciate his statement at the end of the article,
"I didn't do this because it was something I wanted to do," he said. "I did it because I had to do it to protect my dogs."
And to hear of the prior activity of the wolf in the area... I empathize with them and their concern of allowing their children out in the yard. That has to tear at the mother's heart knowing she can not live in fear...

Glad the pooches are okay. Tony sent this out yesterday. Also, there's a few predators in that second pic that I worry about more than woofs and lions. ;)

Glad it turnred out OK. I suspect there are going to be more and more of these type of things until wolves start getting cropped off and they start getting more fear of humans.

I can tell you that if a wolf went after either of my dogs, I would do the same thing. Glad the authorities are not making a fuss over it.

Montana statute states that you can kill a wolf, lion, bear or other critter is your life, or your property are in danger. One of the benefits of being delisted. :)

No harm, no foul.

Glad the dogs are OK and glad the wolf was taken care of before it did get familiar with any of the neighborhood little kids.

Good Shooting!!!!!!!!!! I would do the same. Luckily we don't have any here that I know of. But the yotes living scared Shoot them all and let GOD sort it out.
