Chris is a good friend I've hunted with a lot of years. We spent most of the day Monday hunkered down about 400yards from a herd of bedded elk. Finally in the late afternoon they started getting up and moving across the slope in front of us presenting the opportunity we'd been waiting for. We shot our cows about 90 seconds apart. The pack out was grueling - hard work, but happy work. Can't wait to do it again.
