Colorado archery bull on a solo backpack hunt.

I had an awesome time but not sure I want to do that packout again! I say that now but come next season I'm sure that'll wash away.

What an awesome experience! That's a great bull sir! love the chocolate antlers

Llamas look comfy. I think I would enjoy that hunt just for the uniqueness of it.

The Llamas distracted me, congratulations on a great bull.

Spotted before legal shooting light, 1.5 mile running stalk uphill through unreasonable deadfall, herd bulls screaming at two satellites the whole time, 125 yard kneeling shot off a stump to thread the needle between cows on about a 5 second shot opportunity. One of the craziest experiences of my life for sure.

Guesses on score?

[Thegreatwapiti]

Sounds like every elk hunt. Congratulations! He's a beauty.

320” ? Great bull regardless of score. 30-06 doesn’t disappoint

Im actively a 30.06 guy too. Seems to work.

[Thegreatwapiti]

7x7... must be 300+. Most importantly.....300+ lbs of meat.

My first Wyoming elk. I got her early yesterday morning, l shot her at 7:10 and got the last quarter packed back to the truck at 11:45.
The last elk I shot was seven years ago before l left CO.

Here here, love that, but I’m an -06 guy for the last 35 years.

Taxidermist said that was the right territory. He's got some interesting palmation on his right side that's a little tough to see in that pic, which supposedly adds a few points. Either way, over the moon stoked on him- not a number out there that means anything near as much as how cool an experience it was

He’s a trophy for certain. Got my first elk last year, amazing experience. Congratulations on a cranker bull!
