One of my neighbors found this one today. It was wounded during archery season, by a different neighbor. Was able to get it back to the guy who wounded it.

Whitetail deadhead. Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, South Dakota.

Found on edge of river with spine and bones nearby on bank. I think somebody wounded this buck and it died after moving to water??

Update: The 2025 South Dakota whitetail deadhead that I found while spring turkey hunting is cleaned and already on the wall.
