Deadheads - Let's see 'em

I was at my gun club February 14th, 2025 just walking around looking for deer tracks sorta seeing where the herd is late season. I was in the last area I wanted to scout and was about to walk out of the wooded area and head to my car. Something told me to take a quick right turn to look at an area I had not really checked. I walked about 50 feet and found the pictured antlers, both right and left, that miraculously were shed at the same instant. It’s quite a odd coincidence, to find both from a deer. I told the story to a club trustee who then shared the story at a trustees meeting shortly after. He later told me that one of the female trustees would love to get her hands on them. She is a very active club member in the extra curricular activities and runs our Women in the Outdoors program. I dropped by her house to give them to her. She was elated. She already had plans for them as a centerpiece for the Women in the Outdoors weekend program coming up later in May.

Going to Colorado for the first time this year. Can you keep the sheds or dead heads without contacting the Conservation Agents?
