His molars were as expected for the result. It was one I was definitely interested in

3.5 years old and taken in Nov of 2025. This buck was killed in NW CO in the brutal winter kill zone of 22/23 which means he survived the winter of 22/23 as a fawn.

Called the lab today and they found my mule deer tooth age, had it listed not by my license number.

According to the letter I just got from MTFWP the jaw sample I submitted for my paddle fish last spring put him at 30 years old.

Not that I needed the lab to tell me, but he was aged at 2. Sometimes a hunt comes down to the wire and you get what you get but I sure wish I could have found that "3 year old" OP got.
