I thought it would be nice to have a thread to simply recognize some companies that stand by their product and who really work hard for sportsmen and women when the opposite is true for most of the world. Doesn't need much discussion, and please no complaints on this one (create a new thread for that if you must). I just would love to hear well-deserved praise from personal experiences for above and beyond product or service.

My nominee today is Alaska Guide Creations. They sell great products but even better, through Jerry W., they went far out of their way to quickly help me when I needed an obsolete replacement part on an older item I bought years ago. Thank you!

Leupold. I have two older 20-30 year old gold rings. One quit tracking and another had a blemish on the glass. Leupold warrantied both of them. Still working on rifles today.

Nosler bullets. Many years ago my dad bought a box of accubonds. Some of them were pretty blemished. I reached out to Nosler. With the serial number they determined it was old stock (probably on shelf for awhile). They said they had changed their bonding process to resolve the issue. They replaced them without issue. One later was used to harvest my fist bull elk.

I'll second Leupold. Had a rifle take a solo trip down a steep chute while elk hunting. 100% my fault. Was concerned the internals were damaged along with the front scope cover that would no longer function and which I could not remove given how much damage there was. Leupold replaced both sight covers and repaired the internals as they found the tracking was not within spec; both at no charge. That scope is still on that same rifle 7 years later and will go mule deer hunting with me in early November.

Recently had good experience with Weatherby...I purchased a used Mark V rifle with a threaded barrel and I wanted a thread protector for it. Called customer service, a real person answered, very helpful, he looked up the SN and had a thread protector made for me and cerakoted to match the barrel, $15 shipped and delivered in 2 weeks.

Exped. Had pin holes in mine, way out of warranty, but I sent it in to be fixed at their request on my dime. They fixed it for free in a dunk tank and tested the fix with weights for a day, then shipped it back on their dime. Customer service rep even called me asking about my previous "repairs", guesses where I thought the holes were.

The company goal is to keep their products out of the landfill and they went above/beyond that.

Etrailer - supplier of all things aftermarket for vehicles & campers. I've purchased many parts with them primarily for recreational purposes. They understand customer service is crucial, and have come through time and time again.

Vortex has been great to work with but the company I want to give a A++ rating to is Vanguard. The sleeve that tightens and loosens to hold the desired height on my tripod broke- leaving it to only be usable on the shortest height. Also the stabilizer hook you’d hang a pack on to keep her firm to the ground popped off. I still had the quick adapter for the hook but no hook. They promptly sent me the new sleeve and instructions on how to repair it and also sent me two stabilizer hooks and one new quick adapter for it so that I could loctite one hook into the quick adapter and have one that would be easily interchangeable. Free of charge.

I know not everyone is a fan of Buck knives, but I had a good experience with them a few years ago. I carry one of their folding knives for my daily work knife, somehow I got the pocket clip caught on something and it bent the heck out of it and after that it was super loose clipped on my pocket and would fall out all the time working on the ground. I tried bending it back but it never worked quite right again. I sent a quick email to Buck and I received I brand new clip and replacement screws a couple days later free of charge.

Badlands... Have had nothing but phenomenal customer service. I had some clips break on a trip and was going back out two days later. They overnighted me replacements no charge.

Black Gold Bowsites

Great company with a warranty service thats a no brainer. If you break your own damn site they will fix it.(ask me how I know) Also headquartered in Belgrade MT employing hard working Americans.

Nemo: I tore a pad earlier this year. They replaced it under warranty, no questions asked.

Big Agnes: they replaced a Seedhouse for me years ago. I upgraded to a Copper Spur. The mesh tore, so I sent it in asking them to repair it. They said they wouldn’t repair it, but they’d happily replace it under warranty. I upgraded again to an expedition model.

Mystery Ranch: they repaired my yoke/frame for me last year and had everything back in a very timely manner.

Seekins rifles went above and beyond to make sure my rifle was customized in time for my hunt last year .
Kennetrec for replacing my gaiters that were two years old when they broke .
And Eurooptic for a couple reasons .

Mostly though I want to recognize my LGS , Drifters Gear , for all their help .
Always nice to have a wealth of information to tap into , so many questions answered by John and Chuck .

I opened this thread to throw a shout out to Alaska Guide Creations. Not surprised to see the OP mentions them as the reference. They've been a great company to buy from with exceptional customer service. Just ordered another bino harness today, for my wife.

Exo Mountain Gear has been great, too. Well made product and alot of support, both on the front end and back end.

Nosler- bought a rifle a few years ago. When delivery date came up it was delayed. When I asked why they said it wouldn't meet 3/4MOA grouping. Put on new barrel. They could has easily sent it out and the average shooter would have never known. But for them it wasn't good enough. It shoots .27MOA. Of all the rifles I have ) too many) nothing shoots better or is close to having a smoother action. Sent me 4 boxes of ammo and a hat at no charge for the delay.

Leupold- Same gun. For whatever reason the cut turrets were not correct beyond 300 yards.. I walked in, they took the rifle and 1 hour later they gave it back and said they the turrets were made with wrong markings. Gave me a discount on another scope for my problems.
