Bozeman: is it really that bad anymore?

percentage of semis in traffic is less, that’s kind of what I was going for… I still think there’s less than pre-restriction years.

Sorta correct. Previously it may have been six semis and twelve cars/pickups every mile ... but now it's the same six semis but with one hundred cars, pickups, concrete trucks, gravel trucks, lumber trucks, RVs, etc per mile!

Went on a hiking vacation and stayed 5 days in Canmore Alberta last month. Nice pretty place but I bet it was also less busy decades ago.

I got married in sight of Bozeman a couple weeks ago. Can see where I’m standing from Main Street and pretty much all of the Gallatin Valley. Saw 2 people all weekend - a backpack fisherman and a trail runner. I zoom in on Bozeman - terrible place I tell ya.

What a cool way to do a wedding ceremony. Congrats Kurt!

Took an early hike up Sypes yesterday AM. Nice place but very busy trail on Saturday AM. We were early enough that we only ran into a dozen people maybe on the way to foothills trail junction and back. Everything was normal with the folks we ran into - expect the one guy in a squeaky voice wearing a sports bra.

Hey @Kiwi Hideaway lounge has badass deep-fried pork chop sandwiches. Best breakfast burritos are next to Kenyon noble on jackrabbit, I think it’s rise and shine bakery…? Driving to hyalite reservoir is super quick and there are a ton of easy hikes to some big waterfalls. If you want a little longer hike or like rockhounding, look up the “Hyalite Opal” and go find some! If you like wildlife viewing you can take 191 up around the bend past Gallatin Gateway and take a look-see at “Turner’s Elk” (sorry straightarrow) and maybe see some bison as well. Keep on 191 south to wind the beautiful canyon and maybe fish the river with an affordable 2 day NR fishing license. Once you hit big sky, you may see bighorn sheep, elk, moose or even maybe a bear! Enjoy yourself and safe travels!

I agree with the view ... 'don't understand the apology.? Also take a drive up Spanish Creek through the Flying D Ranch to the Spanish Peaks trailhead and view wildlife and IMO the most gorgeous basin foothills of the Spanish Peaks, a hilly, grassy bison basin of spectacular natural beauty.

Museum of the Rockies is worth checking out if you’re looking to kill a few hours. It’s got a lot of really cool dinosaur bones and fossils.

Went to a coffee shop. Heavy on the they/thems. Good coffee though.

Picked up a gun from Scoute.

Had dinner at the jump waiting for a vehicle to be finished at Freedom Fourwheel.
