Bodacious Barbecue in Texas serves a combination sliced brisket and housemade smoked sausage sandwich called the Fat Boy. First had it in their Winnsboro, TX establishment nearly ten years ago while on a hog hunting trip but I still involuntarily salivate thinking about that glorious pile of smoked meats.

i may not be all that of an oddball for this, but my absolute favorite grilled cheese is sour dough swiss cheese. that's it. none of the cheddar, none of the american, none of the havarti, or muenster or pepper jack. just swiss cheese, butter, sourdough and a castiron.

now they're not saying there aren't good sammies in the so called no fly zone. it's just the happenstance when you have to pick one (supposed best) per state.

good sammies in between, maybe better, but they chose the ones where they did.

Having grown up in eastern NC, I consider my opinions on pulled pork to be unassailable, god-given truth.

Pulled pork on a bun is BBQ. Not a sandwich, simply a BBQ delivery mechanism.

This thread inspired me. Had a cast iron griddled meatloaf slice topped with hatch chiles and onions seared in the same pan. Topped with Irish cheddar cheese. On a good bread with mayo.

Luckily I live just south of the exclusion zone.

My mayonnaise and velveeta sandwich on whit bread with the crust cut off is flavor at its finest.
