Any one ever fall for the, "honey if you buy me this now you won't have to buy me a Christmas present" ploy?

I do, every year....sometimes get I suckered in to the pre-birthday thing too. Must be a rule that if it's over 30 days prior to the supplanted gifting occasion, the occasion obligation overrides the pre-gift.

Haha! my wife's b-day is a few days seperated from Christmas... If I do not make a noticable difference between Christmas and her B-Day - well, let's just say - happy wife, happy life.

Dude... Christmas B-days are the scariest !!! It only takes the first year to figure that out. Then you either "know"..... Or yer "Divorced"

This year she wrapped up the new grill cover she bought the week before Christmas and gave that to me.

Under the tree I found a shirt I bought online for myself wrapped up. At least it said my name on the to/from.

I actualyl opened a package I realized I picked out as well. I looked at it and was like... UHhhhhh.... then looked at my wife and she was laughing because she realized I had forgot !!

I wish I could do that, but the wife thinks I shouldn't be wearing more expensive clothes while I'm hunting than those I'm wearing on a friday night date with her.
