Nice bear! Bait? Spot and stalk? I saw one today that had a very similar coat but not near as old.

Is that what causes that on the face? Sounds like a type of mange. Darn near bald around the forehead. He's defiantly got that Uncle Fester look about him. That's okay, gives him character, and I have enough wall hangers. I'm really liking the claws, super light in color, they'll look good with the skull.

I've seen bears come out of the den almost bald. I thought about lice,mites, or even mice stealing their hair for nests.

Congrats on a beautiful bear!!!
Nice bear and laughed about the Uncle Fester comment as I was thinking the same thing when I first saw it. Regardless, that's character, which I appreciate.
