Suvie?

The wife and I just do 2 or 3 of this guy's meals and then freeze them in single serves.
I like to freeze individual servings of lasagna in vacuum bags and then reheat in the sous vide (60-90 mins from frozen @ 165’ depending on thickness). You could also do it in a pan of simmering water on the stovetop or Bunsen stove at camp. Easy peasy meal. I might do one tonight. 🤔

After watching a bunch of Outdoor Boys videos we also started doing this. It's better than freeze dry and easy to do after a long day of hunting. I fact I think we ate one of these meals last week.

It cooks everything in the pan for the same time frame and temp though right? I feel like it would be hard to get all that to turn out right?
Supposed to have two things so you do veggies in one side meat in the other

We got one of the originals when both my wife and I worked outside the home and thought it would be a big help. The trays were way too small for a family of 5. I shouldn't even fit a whole tenderloin in a tray, so I would have to cut it in half. Ended up hating the thing because it never quite seemed to work the way we wanted. We both work from home now running our company so I have no need for one, but my BIL and SIL have one of the second generation ones and love it. They use it all the time. The trays are bigger than the original, but I still think they are a bit small for our family. They only have 3 people in their home. We have 5 with 2 being teenage boys, so...

Wife laughed at me at first for this. She is actually pretty impressed with it. We haven’t had any of their meals yet. The package they sent got broke and the dry ice was gone and wife wasn’t about to eat shrimp that was 80 degrees for days. The customer service credited me for that meal box and a 75% off my next purchase so can’t really complain

I already have an air fryer, enough. Sous vide is a game changer for game meat, especially for tougher cuts that would otherwise be chewy. Low and slow then a hard sear at the end works every time, and it is almost foolproof. I was reading craigslist reviews for a used sous vide unit, which is a gamble but sometimes pays off.

Still haven’t received any of their official meals yet. We have ate dinner out of it the last 2 nights and my wife just loaded it up for tomorrow night so when we get home from soccer at 730 will be hanging pork loin and veggies ready to go.
