My wife plans exotic, nourishing and delicious meals. Then she wakes up and writes it off as a bad dream. Without the crockpot and a microwave I would have to start a "go feed me" account.

You can make your own meals with it.Cheaper than eating out, yes, but WAY more expensive than buying real groceries and learning to cook.
I like to freeze individual servings of lasagna in vacuum bags and then reheat in the sous vide (60-90 mins from frozen @ 165’ depending on thickness). You could also do it in a pan of simmering water on the stovetop or Bunsen stove at camp. Easy peasy meal. I might do one tonight. The wife and I just do 2 or 3 of this guy's meals and then freeze them in single serves.
You would love the hot case at Town Pump here in Montana. mtmuleyI just stop at Maverik for a burrito.
Your GI track might not.You would love the hot case at Town Pump here in Montana. mtmuley
I can't imagine eating that stuff. Well, maybe once in awhile. In my youth we used to stumble in to 7 Eleven or AM PM stores early or late and lived off of the crap. Lots of beer involved. mtmuleyYour GI track might not.
After watching a bunch of Outdoor Boys videos we also started doing this. It's better than freeze dry and easy to do after a long day of hunting. I fact I think we ate one of these meals last week.I like to freeze individual servings of lasagna in vacuum bags and then reheat in the sous vide (60-90 mins from frozen @ 165’ depending on thickness). It cooks everything in the pan for the same time frame and temp though right? I feel like it would be hard to get all that to turn out right? You can make your own meals with it.
