We try to shoot at a 20 inch square target at 1000 yards. Interesting to see how much a small breeze will affect it.

Yes sir, of course.
Muzzleloaders have been shooting over 1,000yds for over 150yrs. Example: Creedmoor.
They are shooting to 1,000yds twice a year at Camp Atterbury, IN. Percussion, BPCR and modern inline rifles.

Yes, Brent does shoot the Creedmoor with a muzzleloader. Don't have the particulars on his set up. Hopefully he will drop by and give his info.
