Another run at flopping the special VS regular NR fees for deer, elk, and pronghorn.
This one died on the floor last session, and has been resurrected again.
Very bad bill for NR's who don't want to pay the special fee and also for those that have any youth hunters.
Youth hunters are not allowed to get the discounted youth fees under the special fee schedule. In other words, a full 20% of the license's available to NR youth would be gone, unless they paid the higher priced, special price fees (no discount).
Plus, there is a major push by the Governors office to recruit, retain, and reactivate hunters right now. This one flies in the face of that.
Also, just for the record, at a GF commission meeting last year, Sy Gilliland was in my face for sticking up for NR hunters, in particular youth hunters, regarding WOGA's 60/40 bill last session. He didn't care one bit if another DIY NR youth hunter ever hunted Wyoming again, unless they were willing to pay the full special fee. Great guy, who also thought Wyoming Resident youth elk hunters should pay $500 for their elk tags.

Driskill should know better, let him know you don't want NR youth to lose another 20% of their hunting opportunity for elk, deer, and pronghorn:

Northrup, let him know that recruiting youth into hunting means you have to give them affordable youth prices, and not strip another 20% of the deer, elk, and pronghorn tags from them:
