I chased these little buggers with no luck last year and almost ended up with nothing to show for my efforts this year. However, on the final morning of the hunt I turned up a little luck. After I killed number 1, the hillside exploded with javelina, being able to take dos javelinas here, I decided I better kill another for good measure. :D

Stinky little buggers but they sure are unique.

Suffering from poor lighting I gave the trophy photo a shot.

I know, I know, it looks like I just herniated something but I wanted to show off the new guns since I worked out a couple times last month.

Cool stuff, Spitz. You southwest hunters are making us jealous this time of year.

Growing up in South Texas, I remember shooting my sling shot at them when they came near our feeders because we did not want to waste a bullet on them. I have not shot one in about 20yrs, but I got new 30-30 and want to test it out on some piggies or javies. They are not bad to eat if you clean them right. Nice work Spitz.

Thanks guys. It's nice to get a little hunting in this time of year. Used a .223 though I wish I had my bow along for the 30 yard shots I got on each of them.

Oak, thanks for noticing. ;)

It must have been the lucky panties that Moosie gave you. Congrats bud on the piggies. I'm jealous I still haven't killed one of those stinky things.

YAh, he didn't take a Photo shoot of them now did he ... :p

Dude, Congrats. I'd think those Pigs were HUGE If I didn't know you were only 4'11" tall. Congrats anyways ;)
