2008 Buck

Spent a fair amount of time out this year and didn't see alot of deer. I had the 39 early tag and saw some smaller bucks but nothing I wanted too shoot. My cousin shot a spike on one of those hunts and it was his first buck so it was a great hunt. I wasn't ready to give up yet after my early hunt ended so I bought a non-resident tag. My other cousin had a bull tag and I planned on helping him all I could and figured I might as well be hunting too. I missed a buck the day before I got this one and was running out of time. Was going in to pack out my cousins elk and saw 2 bucks, was lucky enough to get a shot at one of them.

The rifle was a Kimber Montana in 300 win. mag. Sorry about the bloody horns didn't think to clean them up. Still had my cousins elk to get out too. Will try to post up elk pics tonight.
