Wyoming Girl, 12, Stuns With One-Shot Kill From 600 Yards To Bag Huge Elk

All perfectly valid points that aren't all that disputable.
I’d add just because a 12 year old can out shoot you doesn’t mean much. I don’t mean that as an insult I have a buddy that shoots a ridiculous amount with 2 young boys. His 8 year old is constantly ringing steel out to 900 yards. Hard to say how much time that girl spent behind a gun. Glad they enjoyed their season

I would much rather have the kids ranch than her rifle. I am a little bit disappointed that my parents didn't buy me a ranch because if they had I would be out road hunting predators today. Probably drinking beer while doing it.

Probably.
I bet not. You probably wouldn’t even be interested in hunting. Seems like that’s most common for the ones that have it.

I have wondered about that, it might be like shooting deer in the yard, which I have never found enjoyment in, but wow our public land hunting is taking a nosedive. Long range gun or not.

I have a modestly equipped 300 RUM. Last year while elk hunting late in the season, I came upon a bedded 7x7 bull with no way to sneak up on him undetected. I decided to walk right at him and at 602 yards his lazy head poked up and he stared right into me.

You shouldn't use a 300 RUM for hunting. Burns way too much powder, has too long of a barrel and obviously the recoil is brutal. No way you can shoot one accurately. I can point you toward another site where you will learn this and more. mtmuley

A 2 minute scroll through Instagram will turn up a lot more garbage than the Wyoming girls elk hunt
I'm not trying to derail but your right. found this in 30 seconds on fb tonight. 600 yard shots have nothing on guys like these douche bags.
